Amuro Namie Shot New MV at Hometown Okinawa for the 1st Time
The popular singer Amuro Namie has released the music video of her new song “Get Myself Back” (July 28th on sale) yesterday. With the topic “Get Myself Back”, it’s her first time to shoot the music video at her hometown Okinawa in her 18 years music career. The single “Break It/Get Myself Back” is a double-A side work, which has been one year and four months after her last single “WILD/Dr.” in March 2009.
However, there will be no dance in the music video. “It’s quit rare for a music video without any dance” said Amuro, “It was in the raining season, when the weather was not stable. There were sudden heavy rain sometimes, forcing us to stop the shooting, which we were quite worried about. But we waited in the tent for the sunshine, and once it got clear, both the ocean and sky turned into light blue, and we took the video successfully. ”
On the other hand, the new song “Break It” is the theme song of the Coca-cola’s CM, starring Amuro herself. The new single is expected to be new masterpiece of Amuro after the release of “PAST<FUTURE”
